Robert Pond

Robert Pond is a Senior RFIC Designer at Amazon Project Kuiper, where they focus on developing next-generation RFICs for electronically steered arrays in satcom and radar applications. With extensive experience in leading design teams through successful tapeouts, they have worked with various technologies including GaAs, GaN, InP, SiGe, SOI CMOS, and bulk CMOS. Their previous roles include Senior RFIC Design Engineer at Skyworks Solutions and RFIC Design Engineer at Rockwell Collins, where they contributed to high-performance RF modules and systems. Robert holds both a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from The Ohio State University, achieving a perfect GPA during their graduate studies. Prior to their engineering career, they operated a successful entertainment business, honing public speaking and performance skills through diverse engagements.
