Roderick Bean

Roderick Bean is an experienced Transportation Associate at Amazon, where responsibilities include managing truck check-ins and check-outs at the DTW5 sort station since December 2020. Roderick has a diverse culinary background, serving as a Line Cook at Levy Restaurants since April 2013 and previously as a Line Cook for the Military Sealift Command under the United States Department of Defense from September 2014 to October 2017. Additional roles in the logistics and culinary sectors include working as an Outbound Packer at Amazon from November 2018 to December 2020 and as a Cook at Delaware North between January and November 2018. Roderick is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Cybersecurity and Information Assurance at Western Governors University, with an anticipated completion date of March 2026, following a period of education at Flatiron School from February to October 2021.
