Roshith Rajagopal

Roshith Rajagopal is an experienced Sr Manager at Amazon, where Roshith has led teams in developing RAG-based LLM-powered information discovery experiences within the Amazon AGI division since September 2005. Roshith oversees the science and engineering teams that build advanced information retrieval systems, focusing on geolocation-based queries and the development of a knowledge graph for local business information. Previously, Roshith held senior managerial positions in Alexa AI, including ownership of local search capabilities worldwide and the launch of local POI search in multiple countries. Roshith's career began with a Product Engineering Internship at Microwave Data Systems and features a solid educational foundation with an MS in Computer Science from the University at Buffalo and a B.E. in Information Technology from the University of Mumbai.
