Ryan Gabbard

Ryan Gabbard is a Senior Applied Scientist specializing in generative AI at Amazon, where they tackle core challenges at the intersection of research, engineering, and product development for Amazon Alexa AI. They previously held positions at BBN Technologies, where they developed a sophisticated document-level event argument detection system and led the design of Java-based NLP frameworks. Ryan served as a Computer Scientist at the Information Sciences Institute, contributing to DARPA projects and leading efforts in natural language processing and machine learning.
