Sam Alptekin

Sam Alptekin is a Software Engineer at Amazon since August 2019, with prior experience as an Investigator in the Cyber Crimes Unit of the St. Joseph County Police Department from January 2017 to August 2019. Sam also completed a Software Development Engineer (SDE) internship at Amazon in the summer of 2018, focusing on language models for Alexa. Additional experience includes a Computer Science internship at Bowman Creek Educational Ecosystem, where Sam worked with the ArcGIS Hub software for civic collaboration. Earlier roles include teaching tennis at TOKENEKE CLUB INCORPORATED from June 2015 to August 2016. Sam holds dual degrees from the University of Notre Dame: a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, both attained between 2015 and 2019.
