Sam Schumer is a Principal Security Engineer at Amazon, having previously held the role of Senior Security Engineer and earlier positions focusing on application security and software development. With a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science from Pomona College, Sam contributed to the Google Summer of Code initiative and served as a software engineering intern at Proofpoint. Additionally, Sam has experience as a tech lead for offensive security, managing red teaming efforts and engaging in pentesting and bug bounty activities. Sam also supported educational endeavors at Pomona College as a course assistant and IT consultant.
