Sanjay Dash

Sanjay Dash is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience at Amazon, where the career began in December 2005 and has progressed to the role of Vice President of Technology for Amazon Physical Stores since July 2009. In this capacity, Sanjay oversees a team responsible for innovative retail technologies, including the Just Walk Out shopping experience, Point of Sale systems, and biometric payment solutions. Previous roles at Amazon include Director of Retail Business Services, where significant achievements included expanding product lines and automating operational tasks. Prior to Amazon, Sanjay held various positions at Zensar Technologies, leading program management and solutions architecture for major clients such as Cisco Systems and Sprint. Sanjay holds a degree from BIT Mesra, obtained between 1990 and 1994.
