Scott Du has a diverse background in both software development and research. As a Mobile Application Developer at the Johns Hopkins Center for Bioengineering Innovation & Design, Scott led a team to create an Android application utilizing image recognition to identify malaria-carrying mosquitos in Uganda. Prior experience includes roles at Mathnasium as an instructor, and various positions at renowned organizations such as Amazon, Thermo Fisher Scientific, and UChicago Medicine, where contributions ranged from software engineering to research in molecular oncology. Scott holds a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science and a Bachelor of Science in Molecular and Cellular Biology from The Johns Hopkins University, and completed education at the Illinois Mathematics and Science Academy.
