Scott Mason is a seasoned professional with over 20 years in academia and current experience as a Senior Principal Scientist in Amazon's Middle Mile Science team. Previously, Scott served as a Principal Research Scientist at Amazon, focusing on optimizing logistics within ground and air transportation. Prior to joining Amazon, Scott was the Fluor Endowed Chair in Supply Chain Optimization and Logistics and Professor of Industrial Engineering at Clemson University, where they led research initiatives in collaboration with public and private sectors. Scott holds a PhD in Industrial Engineering from Arizona State University and has engaged in significant research aimed at enhancing efficiencies in supply chain and logistics systems.
