Sean Kane is the Global Indirect Tax Leader for Amazon's Ads Tax Planning Group, a position held since 2018. Prior to joining Amazon, Sean was a Senior Manager in Global Value Added Tax Services at Deloitte from 2007 to 2018 and briefly served as a Senior Manager at KPMG in 2018. Sean has extensive experience in international VAT consulting, having worked as a Senior International VAT Consultant at Meridian VAT Reclaim from 1997 to 2007, and served as the Director of Operations at the American Ireland Education Foundation from 1994 to 1997. Sean studied at the Institute of Indirect Taxation, obtaining an AIIT degree in 2011, and is currently pursuing further education at The George Washington University.
