Shaima Sharif has extensive experience in innovation and partnerships within the energy and utilities sector. They served as a Senior Manager at the Dubai Electricity & Water Authority from 2011 to 2013 and were a Founding Board Member of the Free Electrons Program from 2017 to 2019. In addition, they have held significant roles at Amazon, including Global Innovation Programs Lead for the Worldwide Environment since 2025 and as Co-Founder of the AWS Clean Energy Accelerator from 2022 to 2025. Shaima also completed a research sabbatical in Regenerative Ranching & Carbon Capture between 2020 and 2021 and earned a degree from the London Business School in 2018.
