Shemeeka Johnson is an experienced public relations manager with a strong background in communications and community engagement. Currently serving as the Public Relations Manager for the Americas at Amazon since October 2021, Shemeeka develops hyperlocal storytelling strategies for the U.S., Canada, and LATAM markets. Previously, as the Regional Public Relations Manager for Georgia and Alabama, Shemeeka led media engagement for Amazon's operational sites in those states. Prior experience includes serving as Communications Director for the Technical College System of Georgia, where innovative outreach strategies were implemented, and as a Senior Communications Specialist at the Georgia Department of Economic Development, overseeing external communications for the Workforce Division.
