Sheng Liu

Sheng Liu is an accomplished researcher currently serving as an Applied Scientist II at Amazon, where they design innovative computer vision models focused on 3D reconstruction and image generation. They hold a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University at Buffalo, where their extensive research in computer vision and natural language processing has garnered publications in top-tier conferences such as TPAMI, CVPR, and AAAI. Previously, Sheng contributed to the development of algorithms for virtual product placement at Prime Video and interned at Microsoft, proposing novel approaches to visual instance search. Their early research experience includes work at Nanyang Technological University, where they focused on vision and language under the guidance of Prof. Junsong Yuan.
