Sherif Ismail

Sherif Ismail is an accomplished network engineering professional with substantial experience in various high-profile organizations. From March 2016 to April 2022, Sherif served as a Network Engineer II at Amazon, contributing to the Internet Services Fabric team. Prior to Amazon, Sherif worked at Nokia Siemens Networks for nearly five years as an IP Solution Architect, focusing on the design and optimization of telecom operators' IP MPLS backbone networks. Sherif’s career began at Orange Business Services, where roles included Network Problem Expert and IP Problem Expert, along with team leadership responsibilities, overseeing technical support for major clients. Sherif holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from Ain Shams University and completed secondary education at Modern Education Language School. Currently, Sherif is a Network Engineer III at Amazon, involved in building AWS border networks.
