Shigeru Sasao

Shigeru Sasao has a diverse background in software engineering and development, with extensive experience in the finance and technology sectors. Shigeru began a career at Deutsche Bank as an Associate in Global Rates IT from March 2004 to July 2008. After a brief tenure as a Research Associate at Carnegie Mellon University in 2010, Shigeru joined MathWorks as a Software Engineer for the Computational Finance Team and later the Engineer Development Group from July 2011 to June 2014. Since July 2014, Shigeru has been working at Amazon as a Software Development Engineer focused on Demand Forecasting. Shigeru holds a Master of Software Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University, achieved with a GPA of 4.0, and a B.A. in Economics from Sophia University, in addition to pre-engineering studies at the University of Washington.
