Shontell Powell

Shontell Powell is currently the Associate General Counsel for Workplace Safety and Health at Amazon, where they focus on legal matters related to workplace health and safety. They previously served as a Shareholder and Of Counsel at Ogletree Deakins and were an Attorney and Ethics Official at the Occupational Safety and Health Review Commission. Shontell began their legal career as a Legal Intern at the Virginia Office of Attorney General and gained research experience as a Post-Baccalaureate Fellow at the National Institutes of Health. They hold a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from The George Washington University Law School and a Certificate in Health Management from the George Washington University School of Public Health and Health Services.
