Shwetha Ram

Shwetha Ram is currently an Applied Scientist at Amazon, where they are building foundation models for video understanding and image generation in the M5 program. They previously held positions as an Applied Scientist at Amazon Scout and at Amazon Lab126. Shwetha has also contributed to academia as a Teaching Assistant at UC Santa Barbara's Department of Physics and has gained industry experience at Dolby Laboratories in various roles related to image technology. Their educational background includes a Master’s Degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering with an emphasis on Computer Vision, Machine Learning, and Computer Graphics from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Karnataka.
