Song Lu

Song Lu is an accomplished data scientist with extensive experience across several prominent companies. Currently working at Amazon since July 2022, Song focuses on data science initiatives. Previously, Song held the position of Senior Data Scientist at Prudential Financial from February 2020 to July 2022, where contributions included building an intelligent underwriting system to enhance customer experience and reduce costs. At WeWork, from March 2018 to February 2020, Song developed predictive models and provided insights to support business functions through data analysis and visualization. Early career experiences include strategic investment internship at JD.COM and private equity internship at Morgan Stanley, which involved due diligence and industry research, respectively. Song holds a Master of Arts from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
