Stephanie Eckman

Stephanie Eckman is currently a Principal Research Scientist at Amazon and a Researcher and Data Scientist at the University of Maryland, where they focus on high-quality data collection methods for social science and machine learning model training. Previously, Eckman served as a Fellow at RTI International and held roles as a Senior Survey Methodologist at NORC at the University of Chicago, a Senior Researcher at the Institute for Employment Research, and a Statistical Consultant for The World Bank. They also contributed to academia as a Professor of Sociology at the University of Mannheim. Eckman is pursuing a Ph.D. in Survey Methodology at the University of Maryland College Park, alongside a Master's in Economics from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, and a Bachelor's Degree in Economics/Mathematics from Smith College.
