Sujay Sanghavi

Sujay Sanghavi is a Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Texas, Austin, where they have served as an Associate Professor since 2014 and previously an Assistant Professor from 2009 to 2014. With a robust academic background, they earned a B. Tech in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, followed by multiple degrees from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, including a PhD in Electrical Engineering and an MS in Mathematics. Prior to their tenure at the University of Texas, they were an Assistant Professor at Purdue University and held a postdoctoral position at MIT. In addition to their academic roles, they currently work as a Principal Research Scientist and Amazon Scholar, focusing on large-scale machine learning for Amazon Search.
