Sumeet Palkar

Sumeet Palkar is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in software development and product management. Currently serving as a Senior Software Development Manager at Amazon since November 2015, Sumeet leads engineering and science teams to create recommendation systems and machine learning solutions that enhance customer shopping experiences. Prior to Amazon, Sumeet worked at ADP as a Director of System Development, where responsibilities included leading a 40+ member Agile team in the development of cloud-based wage payment solutions. Additional experience includes roles at Oracle Financial Services as a Technical Solutions Architect and MoTech Software as a Senior Software Engineer, focusing on project management, development guidance, and software implementation. Sumeet holds a Bachelor's degree in Engineering from the University of Mumbai.
