Suyash Vishnoi

Suyash Vishnoi is a Research Scientist II at Amazon, with previous experience as a Researcher at Georgia Institute of Technology, where a multi-agent reinforcement learning algorithm was designed for optimal traffic signal control. Prior to that, Suyash worked at Google as a Research Scientist, developing a novel solution algorithm for high-dimensional simulation-based optimization. Experience also includes serving as a Teaching Assistant for Optimization and Machine Learning at Texas McCombs School of Business, guiding over 100 graduate students on machine learning applications. Suyash's early research includes a role as a Graduate Research Assistant at the Cockrell School of Engineering, focusing on optimal speed-limit selection using mixed integer linear programming. Internships at CiSTUP and various Indian Institutes of Technology involved advanced collision-avoidance models and other engineering projects. Suyash holds a PhD and an MS in Transportation Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin, as well as a BTech from the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee.
