Swetha Shankar is an experienced technology executive with a comprehensive background in software development and engineering leadership. Currently serving as the Director of Software Development at Amazon since June 2022, Swetha previously held the position of Director of Engineering at Red Hat, leading the Developer Product & Tools Engineering group from October 2018 to June 2022. Prior to that, Swetha spent over 17 years at Cisco in various roles, including Director of Engineering and Vice President of Development, overseeing product development and service delivery for European customers and managing applications and user experience solutions for global PayTV clients. Swetha began the career as a Senior Analyst at Ramco Systems in the ERP sector, laying the foundation for a strong product engineering background.
