Tianyi Liu holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Operations Research from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Nanjing University. Experience includes a role as a Research Assistant at Georgia Institute of Technology, focusing on foundational mathematical understandings of machine learning. As a Research Scientist at ByteDance, Tianyi Liu worked on algorithmic advancements, and previously served as a Research Scientist Intern at IBM, where efficient algorithms for distributed training of neural networks were developed.
