Tom Folta is an accomplished software development engineer with a strong background in video content risk and inspection, product quality, and video understanding. Tom began professional experience at Laser Quest, where responsibilities included tech repair and organizing laser tag games. Subsequent roles at Amazon encompassed developing services to manage product authenticity, inspecting video content for copyright compliance, and founding a team focused on video content classification. Tom's technical skills are further demonstrated through internships at Nokia, where Tom contributed to the transition of legacy systems to cloud-based solutions, and a student assistant role at the IIT Wood and Model Shop. Tom holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Architecture from the Illinois Institute of Technology.
