Tom Vanthournout has extensive experience in logistics and supply chain management, currently serving as Director of Worldwide Amazon Grocery Logistics at Amazon since August 2011. Throughout the career at Amazon, Tom has held multiple leadership positions, including Director of North America Operations for Amazon Fresh and Regional Director for various logistics operations, overseeing significant distribution networks and a large workforce. Prior to Amazon, Tom held roles at CEVA Logistics and Dell, contributing to production control and materials management. Tom earned a Bachelor’s degree in Logistics/Supply Chain Management and International Business from the Haslam College of Business at the University of Tennessee.
