Trishul Chilimbi is currently the Vice President and Distinguished Scientist at Amazon, a role they have held since 2022. Previously, they served as a Senior Principal Scientist at Amazon from 2017 to the present. Trishul is also a researcher at Microsoft Research. They earned a Ph.D. in Programming Languages and Computer Architecture from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where they studied from 1992 to 1999, and completed their undergraduate studies at the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, from 1988 to 1992.
