Usman Aleem

Usman Aleem is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in research and management, currently serving as a Science Manager for Alexa Smart Home at Amazon since August 2019. Prior roles include Senior Researcher at realtor.com and a Sessional Lecturer at the UBC Sauder School of Business, along with a position as a Research Scientist at the New Jersey Institute of Technology where Usman developed a deep learning model for disease risk prediction. Usman earned a Ph.D. in Management Information Systems and an MBA in Strategic Management, both from The University of British Columbia, and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from Lahore University of Management Sciences. Usman also has a background in business management from Interactive Group of Companies.
