Venkat Mukthineni

Venkat Mukthineni is an experienced Applied Scientist II at Amazon AGI since November 2025, previously serving as a Senior Data Scientist at HiLabs, focusing on Generative AI for healthcare. Prior roles include ML/CV Research Assistant and Graduate Research Assistant at the Johns Hopkins Center for Bioengineering Innovation & Design, where significant contributions included optimizing object detection in CI/CD pipelines and deploying deep learning models for malaria parasite classification. Venkat has also worked as a Course Assistant at The Johns Hopkins University, a Machine Learning Team Lead at the Centre of Excellence for Autonomous Vehicles Research, and held various research and internship positions that emphasized advancements in machine learning and computer vision across healthcare and autonomous vehicles.
