Vinay Hegde is an experienced professional in robotics and machine learning, currently serving in robotics at Amazon since December 2025. Prior to this role, Vinay was the Lead Machine Learning Engineer at Serve Robotics for a brief period in late 2025 and held the position of Director of Robotics Software at Vayu Robotics from August 2022 to September 2025. Vinay's expertise in robotics was further developed during a tenure as a Robotics Engineer at Facebook from October 2019 to August 2022 and as a Computer Vision Engineer at Robby Technologies from July 2016 to October 2019, where Vinay contributed to advancements in last-mile delivery robotics.
