Weitong Ruan

Weitong Ruan is a Senior Applied Science Manager at Amazon AGI, where they leverage extensive expertise in algorithm design and machine learning. Previously, Weitong held roles as an Applied Scientist and an Applied Scientist Intern at Amazon, contributing to advancements in Alexa's natural language understanding capabilities. They also completed internships as a Machine Learning Scientist at Analog Garage, where they developed algorithms for breast tumor detection. Weitong obtained their MS and PhD in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Tufts University, and a Bachelor's Degree in Automation from South China University of Technology.
