Xander Kent serves as the Global Head of Circular Economy & Extended Producer Responsibility at Amazon, where they drive efforts to reduce waste and strengthen customer trust through innovative sustainability strategies. Previously, Xander held leadership positions in various roles, including Manager of North America Compliance Programs and Senior Program Manager for Sustainability Technology at Amazon, where they implemented impactful policies and projects that enhanced product safety and reduced environmental footprint. Their earlier experience includes roles as a Sustainability Manager at Belk and an Agribusiness Consultant at International Relief and Development, as well as significant contributions while managing U.N. Development Program grants at Africa BEECause. Xander earned a BA in Economics & Environmental Biology from the University of Colorado Boulder and dual Master’s degrees in Environmental Management and Business Administration from Duke University.
