Xiening Dai

Xiening Dai is a Principal Engineer at AWS Redshift, focusing on Query Execution and Query Optimization. Prior to this role, Xiening worked at various industry leaders, including Alibaba Group, where they served as Tech Lead and Architect for MaxCompute, and Microsoft, contributing to numerous advancements in cloud services and mobile technologies. With a Master’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering from South China University of Technology, Xiening has extensive experience in high-performance computing and data processing at scale. Additionally, Xiening is an Apache ORC Committer, contributing to the development of Orc C++.
