Xin Chen is currently the Head of People Science Solutions Lab at Amazon People eXperience Technology, leading a team of applied scientists to enhance workplace well-being at Amazon through innovative solutions in economics and machine learning. Previously, Xin was the head of the Central US, Greater China Region, LATAM, and the Automotive Vertical in the AWS Machine Learning Solutions Lab, directing efforts across three continents. Xin served as a Director of Engineering at HERE Technologies, where groundbreaking work in HD mapping for automated driving took place, contributing to over 70 U.S. patents in AI. Additionally, Xin is an adjunct faculty member and PhD advisor at Northwestern University and the Illinois Institute of Technology, teaching courses in Artificial Intelligence. Xin holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Notre Dame.
