Xin Li has extensive experience in industrial engineering and data science, having served as a Teaching Assistant at NC State Edward P. Fitts Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering from August 2018 to May 2019. Research interests include machine learning, deep learning, survival analysis, infectious disease modeling, and public health. Xin gained international experience as a Visiting Student at Simon Fraser University in early 2016, developing global metamodeling methods in product design. Roles at Amazon as an Applied Scientist focused on time-series forecasting and currently as a Senior Data Scientist at Vanderbilt University Medical Center emphasize expertise in data science applications.
