Xiuhong Du

Xiuhong Du currently serves as an Associate Professor at Alfred University, having started in August 2008 after initially holding the position of Assistant Professor. In this role, Xiuhong leads the mathematics and statistics undergraduate program, teaching a broad range of courses including calculus, differential equations, and linear algebra, while also advising students on independent studies and Actuary Exams preparation. Additionally, research efforts include applications of computational mathematics to fluid dynamics and the study of Cox models in survival analysis. Since October 2016, Xiuhong has also worked as an Applied Scientist at Amazon. Academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Mathematics from Temple University.
