Xiyao

Xiyao Ma has extensive experience in the fields of artificial intelligence and natural language processing, beginning with a role as a Research Assistant at the University of Florida from August 2018 to May 2022, focusing on projects involving question generation, question answering, and recommendation systems as part of the National Science Foundation Center for Big Learning. Xiyao then advanced to Amazon, holding positions from May 2021 to December 2021 as an Alexa AI Applied Scientist and Senior Applied Scientist, contributing to core large language model (LLM) development for Amazon's Alexa. Xiyao's academic background includes a Master of Science in Computer Engineering from the University of Florida and a Doctor of Philosophy in Electrical & Computer Engineering from the same institution, complemented by a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Hunan University of Technology.
