Xowaib Omar

Xowaib Omar is a dynamic finance leader with over 10 years of experience in both Big 4 and Big Tech environments. Currently, Xowaib serves as the Accounting and Controller Lead at Amazon, where they oversee accounting teams across the UK and EU, managing processes such as financial reporting, operational accounting, and project management. Prior to Amazon, Xowaib worked at EY for nine years as an Audit Manager, leading audits for a diverse portfolio of clients and emphasizing process improvements and stakeholder relationships. Educated at Oxford Brookes University, Xowaib holds a BSc (Hons.) in Applied Accounting and is an Associate Chartered Accountant (ACA).
