Yan Fu

Yan Fu is a Sr. Applied Scientist at Amazon, specializing in machine learning and data science with a PhD in Bioinformatics. Yan's current projects include building global-scale software products focused on real-time analytics and big data streaming solutions, employing languages such as Java, Scala, C#, SQL, Python, and R. With previous experience at INRIX and Kforce Inc., Yan has developed machine learning applications for traffic prediction and personalized marketing services. Yan's academic work includes extensive research on stochastic machine learning algorithms, and their published mathematics models appear in several top journals. Yan is also recognized for contributions as an area chair at the Amazon Machine Learning Conference.
