Yanan Z. is a software development engineer with extensive experience across leading technology companies. Yanan commenced a career at Samsung Electronics as a Software Developer Intern, extending a real-time handwriting detection program. Following this, a position as a Research Assistant at the University of Science and Technology Beijing involved developing a CoMP simulator enhancing signal quality for LTE systems. At Esri, Yanan contributed as a Software Development Engineer focused on backend algorithms for shortest path problems in large road network datasets. Subsequent roles at Microsoft included work on the Bing NewsFeed User and Action Service, as well as the O365 MyAnalytics Data Compute Infra Team.
