Yanxia Li

Yanxia Li is an accomplished researcher and data scientist with a strong background in astronomy and data analysis. Between 2011 and 2018, Yanxia served as a Graduate Student Researcher at the University of Hawaii at Manoa, where a Ph.D. project focused on characterizing cosmic infrared background fluctuations, developing advanced data analysis pipelines, deconvolution algorithms, and various data modeling techniques. Following this, Yanxia completed a fellowship at Insight Data Science, creating a tool to analyze employee reviews using NLP techniques. As a Data Science Engineer at Wayfair, expertise was applied in optimizing product images through reinforcement learning methodologies. Currently, Yanxia serves as an Applied Scientist at Amazon, building on a solid foundation in data-driven research and analytics, further supported by academic qualifications that include a Ph.D. in Astronomy from the University of Hawaii at Manoa and a Bachelor's degree from Beijing Normal University.
