Yao Pan is a Senior Economist at Amazon, where they have been contributing since 2021. Previously, Yao served as an Assistant Professor in Economics at Aalto University from 2013 to 2021 and as a Visiting Scholar at The George Washington University during 2018 to 2021. They also completed a Postdoctoral Fellowship at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology from 2016 to 2017. Yao holds a Ph.D. in Economics from The George Washington University and is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Renmin University of China.
