Yi Liu

Yi Liu is a Senior Research Scientist at Amazon, bringing over 15 years of experience in AI and machine learning. Previously, Yi served as a Machine Learning Engineer at 3M, where they developed ML algorithms for Automatic License Plate Recognition Systems across various markets. Yi also held the position of Computer Vision Engineer at PIPS Technology Ltd, focusing on OCR and object classification algorithms. With a strong academic background, Yi earned a PhD in Computer and Electrical Engineering from The Ohio State University, complemented by both Master and Bachelor degrees in Information Science and Electronic Engineering from Zhejiang University. Currently, Yi leads machine learning research and development efforts at 84.51˚, driving innovative solutions for the company's business needs.
