Yifei Ma is a highly experienced Senior Applied Scientist at Amazon since October 2019, with a focus on expanding use cases and fine-tuning application-specific Large Language Models within Amazon Personalize products. Prior to this role, Yifei Ma served as an Applied Scientist at Amazon from July 2017 to July 2018 and contributed to the launch and core algorithm development of Amazon Personalize Services as an Applied Scientist II at Amazon Web Services (AWS) from December 2018 to September 2020. Earlier experience includes an internship as a quantitative researcher at Citadel LLC in the summer of 2014, where Yifei Ma utilized machine learning methods to predict market prices for equities and bonds. Yifei Ma holds a Ph.D. in machine learning from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor's Degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering from Tsinghua University.
