Ying Shen is an experienced professional in economics and data science, currently serving as the Manager of Cross Channel Marketing Measurement and Optimization at Amazon since August 2017. Ying leads a cross-functional team responsible for developing science models for the Amazon Global Marketing Organization, overseeing the entire model life-cycle from conception to deployment. Previously, Ying held positions as a Senior Economist in AWS Infrastructure Science and an Economist in Worldwide Delivery Experience, where responsibilities included managing complex research projects and building econometric models. Ying completed a Doctor of Philosophy in Economics at the University of Notre Dame and holds a Master of Public Administration from Cornell University, along with a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Renmin University of China and participation in an exchange program at The University of Hong Kong.
