Yonathan Aflalo

Yonathan Aflalo is a seasoned professional in applied science and algorithm engineering, currently serving as a Senior Applied Scientist at Amazon in the Alexa Shopping division since December 2021. Prior to this role, Yonathan Aflalo worked as a Senior Algorithm Engineer at Alibaba Group from August 2018 to December 2021, and at Samsung Electronics from September 2014 to August 2018. Yonathan Aflalo began their academic career as a Teaching Assistant at Technion - Israel Institute of Technology from January 2010 to August 2014. Education includes a Post Doctoral Studies in Shape Analysis and a PhD in Signal Processing, Computer Vision, and Image Processing from Technion, as well as a Master of Science in Mathematics and Computer Science from École Polytechnique.
