Young Baek

Young Baek is an experienced IT professional with a solid background in systems engineering and network administration. From June 2000 to October 2003, Young worked as a Technology Support Specialist at Harris Interactive Inc., providing technical support for over 800 users. Subsequently, Young served as Network Administrator at Gap International, where design and implementation of a new network infrastructure for a 150-user company took place. At the University of Pennsylvania from March 2005 to October 2013, Young was the Data Manager, overseeing a multi-center web-based research database and managing multiple servers. Young then transitioned to Amazon Web Services, contributing as a Systems Engineer II and later an Engineering Manager before taking up a Senior Systems Development Engineer role at Amazon from February 2024. Young's academic credentials include a Master's degree in Computer and Information Technology from the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology from the Rochester Institute of Technology.
