Yuan Qu is a Software Engineer and Operations Research Scientist with a strong background in software engineering and optimization techniques. They have held significant roles at Amazon, first as a Senior Applied Scientist and currently as a Principal Applied Scientist. Yuan's experience also includes working as a Lead/Senior Software Engineer at Taleris/Navitaire/Calebtech, and as a Senior Software Engineer specializing in optimization at Navis. Additionally, Yuan holds a Ph.D. in Operations Research and an MSE in Computer Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin, complemented by a BS in Astrophysics from Beijing Normal University.
