Yuchao

Yuchao Ma is a Senior Applied Scientist at Amazon, working on new opportunity exploration and marketing recommendations for sellers' growth using machine learning models and optimization techniques. Yuchao previously held positions at Amazon as an Applied Scientist II and an intern, where notable projects included designing systematic approaches for selection completeness measurement and developing prediction models. Yuchao's prior experience also includes a data analyst internship at Hornby Zeller Associates, focusing on administrative data sets for child welfare. They are currently a third-year PhD student majoring in Computer Science, with research interests in Wearable Computing, Machine Learning, Data Analytics, and Statistical Inference. Yuchao earned a PhD from Washington State University and a Master's degree from the University at Albany, SUNY.
