Yueying Wang has extensive experience in research and applied science, currently serving as Research Scientist II and previously as Applied Scientist II at Amazon from August 2022 to October 2024. Prior to Amazon, Yueying worked as a Postdoctoral Research Scientist at Columbia University Irving Medical Center from August 2021 to July 2022 and held the position of Research Assistant at Iowa State University from September 2018 to August 2020. During the time at Iowa State University, Yueying developed a data fusion method utilizing functional data analysis to produce high-resolution PM2.5 mapping for the Beijing area. Yueying also gained teaching experience as a Teaching Assistant for STAT 101. Yueying earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Statistics from Iowa State University (2016-2021) and a Bachelor of Science in Statistics from the University of Science and Technology of China (2012-2016).
